Many are registered nurses, licensed counselors, or certified diabetes educators; others are registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, or certified health education specialists. With each of the programs described below, your employees can choose from six telephone-based sessions with a personal health coach, an online program, tele-group session, or a self-guided workbook option.

From understanding the unique “triggers” that drive urges to smoke, to preventing relapse after quitting, this program guides participants through the quitting process and helps them stay tobacco-free for good. Health coaches are available to help participants every step of the way, starting with preparation for “quit day.”
UPMC MyHealth Weigh to WellnessTM. Participants learn the skills needed for a lifetime of successful weight management. With support from a health coach, they can build activity levels and replace unhealthy eating habits with healthy ones.
UPMC MyHealth Step Up to WellnessTM. After completing a simple, personalized measure of their activity level, participants work with health coaches to create a tailored plan to gradually build up to the recommended aerobic, flexibility, and strength building standards for optimal health.
UPMC MyHealth Eating WellTM. Cutting-edge tools guide participants to make healthier food selections and create a personalized eating plan that will work for the short and long term. In addition, participants have access to hundreds of nutrition articles and healthy, tasty recipes.
UPMC MyHealth Less StressTM. Health coaches help participants get their life in balance, improve their mood, and enjoy their work and leisure time more.
