Core Competency Spotlight: Are you looking for a replacement to HDMS?

We can process and set up your clients’ data in weeks, not months.

The flexible systems and approaches of our analytics services allow us to quickly and easily ingest data from a variety of sources—which means we can stand up your clients’ program in a matter of weeks, not months! We can aggregate data from your clients’ separate transactional systems at the lowest level of granularity with minimal transformation—allowing for ongoing, flexible analyses.

One of our large health care clients faced high turnover among its bedside nurses and call center workers. To help address this issue, we developed a predictive model to identify workers who were likely to leave within six months. The model required a comprehensive approach, which involved analyzing human resources, health, and demographic data. By breaking down data silos and creating an integrated data warehouse, we enabled the client to understand its business challenges, identify risks, and effectively predict human capital costs.

The results:

  • 90 percent accuracy in identifying call center workers who would leave in 90 to 180 days
  • Identified nurses who were three times as likely to leave in 90 to 180 days
  • A 17.5 percent reduction in monthly turnover in the 7 months that followed, compared to a 4.6 percent reduction in other departments with high turnover

Considering that the estimated cost of recruiting, hiring, and training a new employee is $2 million per 1,000 hires, this reduction in turnover has led to a significant savings for our client.

Products and Service Innovations

Integrate your clients’ absence data so they can make decisions in real-time.

In a world where business owners need to know in real time who is calling off for the day, we found that communication channels like email and text were not always reliable. That’s why we created Absence Monitor—it helps our clients more efficiently manage absence notifications and their operations. This proprietary tool gives managers and supervisors the power to immediately manage call-offs and trigger critical workflows and procedures that maintain operational efficiency. In addition to Absence Monitor, we offer 24/7, U.S.-based central intake that acts as a single point of contact for our clients.

Our customizable, fully integrated absence management program ensures compliance with our clients’ policies as well as all federal and state regulations. We offer robust platforms to handle all of our clients’ leave administration needs. Our industry-leading, best-in-class reporting and benchmarks provide actionable recommendations.

Supporting mental well-being in May—and all year

The National Survey on Drug Use and Health found that 1 in 5 U.S. adults lives with a mental  illness.1 As part of our efforts to support our clients, we offer resources to improve their employees’ quality of life during trying times and in everyday life. One such resource is the LifeSolutions® employee assistance program. LifeSolutions offers mental well-being services in person, by phone, online, or by text message.
