KnovaSolutions: Catch Up, Stay Ahead: Adult Vaccines Save Lives

Did you know that vaccines aren’t just for kids? Adults need them too.

Vaccines save lives.

Vaccines protect you from serious diseases—and they help protect the people you care about too. Babies, older adults, and people with health problems may not be able to get vaccines or may not be fully protected. When you get vaccinated, you help keep them safe.

Commonly recommended vaccines:

  • Flu (influenza)
  • COVID-19
  • Tetanus and diphtheria (Td) or tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) every 10 years to keep your immunity
  • Pneumonia
  • Shingles

Missed a shot? Traveling soon? You might need more vaccines.
Sometimes people miss vaccines when they’re younger. Or they might need extra ones if they’re going to another country where different diseases are common. These immunizations may include:

  • Chickenpox (varicella).
  • Hepatitis A (Hep A).
  • Hepatitis B (Hep B).
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV).
